NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS
Create new Ticket Forms and Event Types
You can now create multiple Event and Ticket Types, each with its own configuration.
This enables more tailored workflows—for example, by defining specific Tasks or content fields for distinct situations.
Ticket Forms now also support enhanced presentation options, giving you better control over how forms are displayed.
Task improvements
Managing Tasks has become more efficient and consistent across the platform:
- Drag and drop in Sidebar – Easily organise Tasks by dragging them into the Sidebar.
- Change status via kebab menu – Update Task status directly from the kebab menu.
- Assign to Me – Quickly assign Tasks to yourself from the kebab menu.
- Smart defaults – New Tasks automatically receive a due date one week ahead.
- Default Task Labels – Define default Labels for Tasks within Content Types, Events, and Tickets.
UX improvements
Where Used
- A new Where Used feature is available for Content Items, Events, and Tickets.
- From the Content Types Overview page, you can see where each type is used and access a pre-filtered list of related items with a single click.
Rich text editor options
- We’ve expanded the formatting options for the rich text editor. You can now use: Headers, Blockquote, Strikethrough, Underline, and Highlight.
- The Rich Text field type can also now be added as a content field in your models.
Duplicating Types
- You can now duplicate Content, Event, and Ticket Types.
- This is particularly useful when setting up new Types that share configuration with existing ones.
Usability refinements
- Improved readability with lighter background colors in text fields. Simplified process for adding Labels to Types.
- Option to rename Help Text to Info Text.
- Renamed Lead time to Processing time.
- Engatta now remembers your last selected Type when creating new items, events, or tickets.
- Source icon moved from the overview to the Content Item page for clarity.
- Updated copy for the 404 page, Account Activation, and Forgot Password emails.
- Removed the Edit option from the Create new pop-up in Calendar.
- When adding items to a Collection, the entire row is now clickable.
