FEATURES 🆕

User Management

• You can now create new users in Engatta
• Deleting users is not possible, as the user might still be assigned to tasks or content items. You can lock a user instead
• Creating a new user comes with a temporary password that the new user needs to change at the first login

Accounts > New account > New user

Predefined Lists

The pre-defined list option allows users to create a list with fixed values:

• The list can be added to a content type as a metadata field
• The list values appear as an option to filter in the calendar, task boards, content items and planner
• Field validation also applies to lists

Example above: List of beers as part of the custom metadata fields in a content type

Blue Conic Integration

• The BlueConic integration imports segment values into a predefined list, for example, to indicate the target audience of the content item.
• When the set of values changes in Blue Conic it will also change in Engatta
• Values are applicable via predefined lists

IMPROVEMENTS ▶️

Multi-select content items

The new multi-select option allows you to:

• Add multiple content items to a collection at once
• The multi-select is for now only available to add content items to a collection

Collections > Collection > Add Content Item(s)

Field validation

The new field validation allows you to create rules for content fields:

• Rules regarding a maximum number of characters, a required image or a publication date

• Validation moments will be executed on different moments: immediate (eg character limit), on save, activation, or delivery
• Field validation is configured in the content type

Types > Content type > Content fields > Type

Duplicate Content Items

The new duplicate content items allow you to make an exact copy of a content item:

• The copy includes Tasks and References
• The copy does not include any conversation

TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENTS *️⃣

CSP Headers

CSP headers help detect and mitigate certain types of attacks, including Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and data injection attacks.

• In this release, we have added CSP headers and upgraded FusionAuth to create an even more secure environment.

Data Virtualization

We implemented Data Virtualization and it is the first step towards an asset library:

• Imported assets - for example images from a Twitter feed - now only hold metadata of the image and store a URI to the original image.
• Previews will still be stored in the Mongo database, but they tend to be much smaller.
