NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS

Add new labels locally

Previously, adding a new label required administrator access to the central label list. You can now add new labels directly from the label dropdown, right where you need them.

This is especially useful in dynamic environments where labels change frequently and waiting on an admin slows things down.

Content Items Overview with Type column

The Content Items overview now displays the Type for each item. This gives you a quicker read of your content at a glance, without needing to open individual items. The existing filter option to drill down by Type is of course still available.

Relative due dates for Tasks

When you set a publication date on a content item that has default Tasks, those Tasks now automatically receive a due date relative to the publication date. One less thing to configure manually.

Connect Digital Asset Library

Engatta can now be connected to a Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, allowing users to add files directly from the DAM to a content item. This integration is configured per client, making it a flexible addition for teams that rely on a central asset library.

UX improvements

To improve readability across the platform, the width of Labels, Content and Form Fields, Ticket Forms, and Shared Content Items has been reduced. Less visual noise, more focus on what matters.

Small issues resolved

  • Duplicating items with a rich text element now works correctly
  • A second task opened on the board can now be edited as expected
  • Fixed a browser error that occurred when closing the sidebar in the calendar

Technical improvements

  • Upgraded AWS environments
  • Updated all frontend libraries to their latest versions
  • Updated all Maven dependencies to their latest versions
  • Updated Apache Karaf to its latest version
